1. On March 11th, the Sherman Brothers got their window on Main Street, which isn’t something just anyone who works for Disney can get. 

    Part of the entertainment for the event was when “Mother” & “Father” from the Carousel of Progress came out and did a 10 minute medley of songs that the Sherman Brothers wrote for the Disney theme parks, and beyond.  Included are themes from: It’s A Small World, The Tiki Room, Carousel of Progress, Winnie the Pooh, World of Color, and a few more.

    Personally I love the Sherman Brothers, how can you not when they wrote some songs that Disney is most known for in their movies, shows & theme parks.

Hi! My name is Amanda and I'm a twentysomething disney-a-holic. If being obsessed with Disney is wrong I don't think I want to be right.

I've been going to Walt Disney World since the 80s and I plan on continuing my visits until I'm at least in my 80s. I love retro Disney, especially old EPCOT Center, characters and attractions long since forgotten and all the little nooks & factoids the average person doesn't know.
